Buffalo River Services, Inc. is a private, non-profit corporation, licensed by the State of Tennessee to provide a variety of services to people with disabilities. BRS, Inc. had it’s beginning in 1972 as Wayne County Skills, Inc. which provided services to adults with disabilities in that area. The agency started when a group of concerned parents got together and decided it was time that our community offered something more to some of our more vulnerable citizens. Since that time, BRS, Inc. has developed into a multi-county, decentralized agency. We have developed a state-wide reputation for providing quality, person-centered services in our area.
