At Buffalo River Services, Inc., our Direct Support Professionals are at the heart of everything we do. During DSP Appreciation Week, September 13–19, 2026, we will celebrate the dedication, compassion and skill of the employees who make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we support each day. Join us for a full week of recognition, activities, prizes and fun—concluding with an agency-wide celebration for our staff and their families.

Get ready to show your BRS spirit! As part of our 2026 DSP Appreciation Week celebration, employees are invited to participate in themed dress-up days from September 14–18:
🌺 Monday: Hawaiian Day
🤠 Tuesday: Western Day
🧦 Wednesday: Mix-Matched Day
🕺 Thursday: Favorite Decade Day
💙 Friday: Team Spirit Day
Participation is optional—but we hope you’ll join the fun! Submit photos of your outfits by the end of each day for a chance to be featured on our social media pages. Staff will have an opportunity to vote for their favorites, and winners will receive prizes throughout the week.

Bingo cards will be distributed to all BRS locations before DSP Appreciation Week, and each employee will receive their own card.
Throughout the week, Bingo numbers will be drawn and posted on our Facebook page during the day—so be sure to follow along and mark your card!
If you get a Bingo, use the link below to submit a clear photo of your winning card for verification. Please circle or highlight the winning numbers, but make sure every number remains clearly readable.

Join us on Saturday, September 19, as we conclude DSP Appreciation Week with an agency-wide Staff Appreciation Banquet at The Willows at The Bridges, located at 299 Natural Bridge Park Road, Waynesboro, Tennessee 38485.
Employees from across BRS—including our direct support teams, nurses, leaders and administrative staff—are invited to bring their families for an afternoon and evening of food, fellowship, activities and recognition.
The Willows is the warm, rustic event center located on the beautiful grounds of The Bridges, a unique Wayne County destination known for its rare natural double-span bridge and peaceful wooded surroundings. Guests may also tour the famous Natural Bridge and Ice Cave, located just a short walk or drive from The Willows. Anyone wishing to visit these natural attractions must complete the waiver provided below.
Guests may arrive beginning at 3:00 p.m. to enjoy planned activities for adults and children. Dinner will be served at 5:00 p.m., followed by the return of our annual Awards Ceremony at 6:00 p.m. Accommodations are also being made for employees who are scheduled to work but would still like to attend. Please review the RSVP form for details.

Please Note: Reservations must be made prior to August 30th. If you would like to tour the famous Natural Bridges and the Ice Cave, you and your guests MUST sign a waiver. You can save time by printing and signing the waiver in advance.

The BRS Annual Awards Ceremony returns in 2026! This special tradition gives us an opportunity to recognize the employees, leaders and teams whose service, character and commitment make a lasting difference throughout our agency.
The ceremony will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, during the Staff Appreciation Banquet at The Willows at The Bridges. Recognition will include longstanding agency honors, individual and team awards, leadership selections and a few good-natured, humorous awards celebrating the personalities that make BRS special.
Employees are encouraged to help us identify deserving coworkers and leaders by submitting award nominations using the link below. Please provide thoughtful examples explaining why your nominee should be recognized. All nominations must be submitted by August 30, 2026. Submission of a nomination does not guarantee selection, and certain awards have specific eligibility requirements established by agency policy.
